I will be forever grateful to Miss Brennan for her uncredited but vital help at a key moment of my career. One night we were looking at a new script over drinks at the Regal Beagle, and Caitie suggested that we rename the hard-nosed detective character "Action Jackson" instead of the less appealing "Character Driven Jackson". Saved my life. Take it from me, M. C. Brennan knows her stuff, or my name isn't Carl Weathers.

I went to high school with M. C. Brennan back before she was M. C. Brennan. The only other celebrity in our graduating class was the rodeo star Ty Murray. Ty Murray is worth millions of rodeo bucks. Ty Murray is nailing Jewel. M. C. Brennan, you are no Ty Murray.

She had a touching reunion with her old director from The Doors, Oliver Stone, at the Austin film festival. At the awards banquet he described her as "the best damn hippie that ever strayed."

She is awesome to the MAX. And super sweet. I ran into her at Federated and asked her to autography my copy of "The Dastardly Communist Plot" and she actually scribbled a whole new one-page chapter with my name as one of the characters. I got eaten by a walrus but that's kewl. Cutest american polymath EVAR. Lol Zowie.

I saw M. C. Brennan with Steve Buscemi and Kathy Kinney at Outfest having a big discussion about M. C.'s upcoming feature film directing debut "Dramatis Personae"...it was pretty cool.

I spotted M.C. Brennan on Santa Monica BLVD at a cafe, sipping a latte with Jamie Farr. Apparently she's broken up with Pat Harrington?

Variety is reporting that M. C. Brennan has been cast as the young Lieutenant Uhura in J. J. Abrams' upcoming "Star Trek" prequel.
