Born and raised in the Big Apple, Jenine Mayring began her career as a stage actor. Jenine earned her bachelor's degree in Theater Arts (Acting & Directing) from the State University of New York at New Paltz.In New York, Jenine produced and directed comedian Joe Bronzi's one-man show - The Art of Bathroom Meditation. Since moving to Los Angeles, she has produced several short films. She's a well-rounded, roll-up-her-sleeves producer who writes, directs, narrates, and, if required, sings.In 2006, Jenine produced her first documentary, From Silence to Sound, through her production shingle, Brooklyn Girl Productions. This touching film tells the miraculous story of the first man to receive a bilateral (double) cochlear implant in Oklahoma. It is an official selection of the Palm Beach International Film Festival (2007) and the Rome International Film Festival (2007).Jenine has produced several commercial campaigns, including spots for NORMS Restaurants which increased sales by 11%. In addition to her commercial work, upcoming films include Avenue X (a coming-of-age story of two deaf teenagers), Crazy Love (a psychological thriller), and High Notes (a romantic comedy).Jenine is an active member of both Film Independent (FIND) and Women In Film (WIF). She lives in Tinseltown with her beloved Mac.
